Arts District
DTLA's Arts District is the most concentrated zone of large-format street art in Los Angeles — a former warehouse and cold-storage industrial zone transformed into a gallery without walls. The neighborhood's brick and concrete facades have attracted international muralists since the early 2000s, and walking its blocks is like touring a constantly refreshing outdoor museum where the art is interrupted only by coffee shops and craft breweries.

"The Future" on 4th Street is his largest LA mural, a five-story composition of interlocked female portraits in his signature graphic-novel style that has become one of the most photographed walls in DTLA.

Chinese artist based in Cape Town who creates large-scale animal forms assembled from thousands of individual brushstrokes that give his subjects an almost fractal quality — as though built from the smallest components of living matter. "Feline Dream" in the Arts District is considered among his finest North American works, a leaping leopard that appears to explode outward from the warehouse wall.
Cryptik
LA-based artist who integrates sacred text and mantras from Buddhist, Hindu, and Sufi traditions into large-format calligraphic murals. "Gold Rush" layers passages from the Upanishads over California gold-country imagery in a visual meditation on spiritual wealth vs. material wealth — a commentary the artist describes as a direct response to the neighborhood's rapid luxury development.
