A defining voice of 1980s pop art and street culture. Haring's bold, cartoonish figures appeared on subway walls, gallery walls, and museum walls worldwide. His "Crack is Wack" mural (1986) on a handball court in East Harlem remains one of New York City's most beloved — and most officially protected — public artworks.
Lady Pink
Born in Ecuador, raised in New York. Sandra Fabara — Lady Pink — is one of the pioneering female voices in graffiti and street art. Since the late 1970s she has painted trains, walls, and galleries across NYC and beyond. Her large-scale Bushwick murals are among the most studied works in the borough.
Os Gemeos
